Straightening your hair.?

how do you straighten your hair without damaging it or getting split ends. Is there a good hair product for straightening hair that will not damage your hair or make you get split ends.

When I straighten my hair, I use this spray called FX (I think that's what it is.) It's a spray to use especially for flat irons. It's also a defrizzant and gives your hair heat memory. It is in a purple bottle and can be generally found at Walmart with the shampoos, conditioners, and mousses for about $5.

Well, if you want to straighten your hair, you have to face some damage. But the level damage is, fortunately, under your control.

Use a good straightener. I don't really recommend the Chi, they are flimsy and don't work too well at all. I recommend the Remmington straightener. I got mine from Target for $40, it's brown and pink, and its plates are made out of special stones that protect your hair.

Before I straighten my hair, I use a heat protection serum. I also got that from Target. It's the Vo5 brand. It's for $2. The bottle is red.

Use a good shampoo. Something with lots of protein is enriched with moisture. I recommend the Sunsilk Anti-Frizz. It comes in the green bottle. About $3. Pantene also has good shampoos, but they are a bit expensive.

use a good heat protecting spray or serum and find a good ionic flatiron. tourmaline ceramic irons release negative ions to damage the hair much less, i recommend one. definitely don't get a gold-toned one because they damage the hair a lot more. also, don't iron your hair when it's wet unless it says wet-dry on the iron package because that's really damaging. good luck!
