umm.. i was just wondering if any one thought that a guy straightening his hair was "gay." i did it one time and it looked great but im afraid that everyone is going to think that i am gay because of this. any suggestions? Oh yeah... and my hair is wavyy.

I don't think I would let it bother me if I were you, regardless of what others might think. Men deserve the same rights and should be free to change their hair and personal style the same as women without any stigma attached to doing so.

You may run up against some attitudes, but tell them you are campaigning for "Men's Rights and Gender Equality"... Even (especially!) the die hard manly men will probably laugh while secretly thinking about their own "equality" issues with women.

lol There is nothing wrong with liking the way a new look can make you feel. Women have had the hair freedom all to ourselves for far too long and it's about time you guys discovered how much fun a change can be! ... As well as the problems all that fun can create... over-processed split ends, frizzies, thinning hair and so on.

While some fools may think that grooming yourself is gay, it really is not. I actually admire men who take time to take care of themselves. Go for it!

no suggestions.. it depends.. some guys do look gay but others look really good with it.. ask someone weather you look good with it wavy or straight... the same thing is with my hair... my hair is naturally curly but i straighten it.. i was thinking about going darker.. like.. dark brown.. what do you think?

Men who are worried about people thinking they are gay are insecure with their sexuality. That is a major turn off.

I personally prefer straight hair on men. Easier to run my fingers through. I would also prefer to be with a man who grooms himself!

Good lord who told you that i think a guy that cares about his appearance is great, butif you wanna straighten your hair then straighten it if anyone says your gay then they are probably jelous, u could also try bed head straighten those splits , it works great with a blow dryer and the dryer gives your hair the extra fluff. hope i helped

no i dont think its gay cause my bro likes it when i straighten his hair but i mean like 2ce a year and he is 100% not gay sum guys just do it occasionally but if u do it all the time it might seen weird for a guy to care so much.

One of my male friends love using his gf's straighteners. He uses it to make his spikes neat. He actually gone to the extreme wearing a baseball cap backwards, but because of the size adjusting band some hairs stick out. He straighten those too!

Okay...if you straighten your hair you will be called gay, that's a fact of life. Do I think you should be called gay? No. My date to formal straightened his hair though and the guys loved it, but it was just the girls who thought it was odd. So to answer your question, go for it for a day and see what others say and make sure you love it and then decide what style works best on you!
