I let out the truth---I straighten my hair! It's constantly dry and has split ends. Does anyone know some products that will give it that sleek shine and turn it healthy again?

Yes straighten my hair and it drys out so i buy aussie sydney smooth for straight hair my friends straighten and use it to and they luv it that should work good luck!!!:-)

I use LustraSilk Cholesterol. Found it at Walmart in ethnic hair care section. I let it sit in my hair for about 20 minutes and then wash it out. Last usually about a month and really gives a great shine.Cheap too!

Try a mixture that my girlfriend does (she's Hispanic,w/long thick, curly black hair)... she takes a couple of eggs (raw of course) and mixes them with a cup of honey. She massages this in, and leaves in, wrapped ina towel for 10-15 minutes, once a week. She has got gorgeous hair!

Another thing you could do is, first get a trim to get rid of the split ends, then use a cholesterol conditioner (found in beauty supply stores, they come in 1 application tubes), once a week. Follow the instructions, or you could wet your hair, apply conditioner, wrap your hair in a towel WITH CONDITIONER IN, leave in for about 5-10 minutes. Heat with your hair dryer ON LOW for a few minutes. After the 5-10 minutes, rewash your hair. This should help, maybe not instantly, but over a short period of time, you'll notice a difference.
