well when you have yer first section of hair to straighten, run the flat iron over it, run the comb throught that section and at the same time follow behind it with the flat iron again.

comb your hair first over all

then take a section and comb through it, but not all the way,

just kind of leave it there(at the bottom ends of your hair) and then your straightener should be in your other hand, ready, and go from the roots to the end, and continue with each section.

do the bottom layers first then the top second, if you want your hair to look fuller,

but if you want it to look flatter, dont do it in sections at all.

hope i was some help

answer my questions?

thanks

comb/brush it dry as you blow dry it.............also you could use a flat iron depending on how long it is...........i am not sure how short it is.
