The best way to go would be to do the chinese straightner. It is the best but is expensive. I have tried both chemical and regular with no luck. But really depends on the hair.

To be truthfully honest with you none. why? because both are harmful to your hair. straighting breaks off your hair, it's basically like your frying your hair. Chemicals thin your hair out over time as well. So your best bet is to use the chemical system but, once in a while. So it will not be so harsh on your hair.
