My hair is naturally a little curly/frizzy. And when I straighten it, its shiny and smooth but it always looks like I've "straightened it" ie: it looks dead straight and SO flat! I'd like it to look a bit more natural. Does anyone know how I can still get silky straight hair without it being so stiff...in other words, how I can achieve some volume while straightening? Thanks so much!

Go and buy the conair hot curls..the big purple ones. When you're done straightening it...put them on and wait 5 min. When you take them off...OMG! You'll love it.

Use a barrel brush after you straighten, or use a blow dryer under your roots afterwards.
